The facility boasts over 2000 square feet of richly appointed lounge area, two grand fireplaces (one of which is a 200 cubic foot copper hooded fire pit), numerous waterfalls, indoor whirlpool swim spa and impressive panoramic views of the surrounding forest, city and mountains through its floor-to-ceiling windows. Built in the early 1950's, Mahogany Manor was the largest private residence in Anchorage until the middle 1970's. Owing its name to the mahogany siding which adorns the structure, this manor house is constructed of rare woods and other unique materials. Inside you will enjoy a long list of tantalizing features including a rich redwood interior, an extensive collection of museum quality Alaskan art, two grand fireplaces, numerous waterfalls, a floating spiral staircase, and impressive panoramas of the surrounding grounds, city and mountains through a series of floor to ceiling windows.

Take in the view by strolling along one of the multiple large decks, each offering a different view of the surrounding grounds. Enjoy the heavily wooded forest with white birch and evergreen trees, all of which can be enjoyed while relaxing in the 19-foot whirlpool/swim spa.
